This Policy Outlines guidelines for visitors to ensure safe, respectful, and recovery focused environment for all residents. Visitors are welcome and encouraged, but all visits must adhere to the facility’s procedures and approved areas.
Visiting Hours: Daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. All visitors must enter the building and sign-in at the Central Staff Office. Visitors that remain in their car will be asked to enter the building to check-in, failure to do so could result in being asked to leave.
Overnight Visits: Not permitted at any time.
Visiting Areas: Visits may take place only in the Dining Room, Living Room, Sun Room, Moroccan Room, or Back Deck. The Conference Room may also be utilized for more privacy; please check with the PD or designee for approval for this space.
Visitors are not allowed in resident bedrooms or staff-only areas.
Children: Must be supervised at all times by their accompanying adult. Children must follow all facility rules.
Pets: Pets are allowed to visit with a specific resident. The visit with pets needs to be approved and scheduled by the Case Manager and communicate with the Program the details. For an animal to visit and to be approved the following must occur:
- Only one animal at a time
- The visit must be held outside in designated areas only
- The pet may only visit with the one specific resident they are there to see
- It must be scheduled ahead of time and approved
- A copy of vaccinations must be given to the Program to keep on file
- Animal must be leashed at all times
- A waiver must be signed by the pets owner.
Meals with Residents:
- Residents may invite visitors to dine with them up to 3 times per month at no charge.
- After this allowance, guests must pay $2.50 per meal, per person, paid prior to dining.
- A 24-hour notice is required for all guest meals, so the kitchen can plan accordingly.
Visitor Belongings: All items brought by visitors must be checked by staff before visits. Unapproved or inappropriate items will not be permitted and will be returned to the visitor upon departure.
Outings with Visitors: Residents must submit a pass to receive prior approval from nursing and clinical staff. Visitors must adhere to the approved outing time.
Compliance and Conduct:
- Visitors must follow all facility rules and staff directions.
- Visitors may be asked to leave if their presence becomes disruptive or unsafe.
- Questions or concerns about visit-related matters should he directed to the Program Director.
